Merry Christmas Australia.
On christmas morning we rose to a cold Colorado day with a little fresh snow, but mostly just bitterly cold winds that creep through the smallest gap between your jacket and neck gator. While Jarrod and Christine began on the preparation for lunch, Andy took the crew up the hill to try and make the most of the quiet morning.
It didn’t last. The -25C temps were a little too cold to manage more then a run or two.
Back at the house, a couple of ham’s and a truck load of spuds were roasting away. Christine wrapped a few more prezies and did all the important motherly things to make the day special.
Once Andy and the crew got home, they got busy lighting a fire in the backyard pit, and starting work on the mini park.
Robbie, Alice, and Stag popped in just in time for the feast, adding to it with a masterful salad and entrée selection. Thanks Alice!
The lunch was amazing, and dragged on into the evening. Lawrence and his family came over to join the festivities and we all enjoyed some relaxed hot tub time and card and board games into the night.
